how we work

We craft video content that goes the distance.

At 262 Creative, we believe video production should be like running a marathon. And no, we don’t mean excruciating and fraught with regret.

Marathon training demands thoughtful preparation and long term thinking to cross the finish line, sans injury. That’s why we take time on the front-end to understand your brand, goals, and audience thoroughly. By cultivating a relationship first, we can make sure your message resonates with the people you want to serve for the long-haul.

Our goal is to create videos that deliver immediate impact while also staying effective and relevant over time. We’re not interested in sprinting to the finish of a project. We’re here to support you for the marathon of your business.

OUR UNIQUES

Videos are an investment. You shouldn’t have to settle for a viral trend that loses relevance after a couple of weeks. We craft videos with these principles in mind to make sure you’re getting a better performing video with more longevity.

Sustainable

You’re not just trying to fleece as much money out of your clients as possible, all while twirling your excellently groomed handlebar mustache and cackling maliciously.

*ANY similarity to actual CEO’s, living or dead, is PURELY coincidental.

You’re a purpose-driven brand who genuinely wants to help people live more prosperous, thriving lives. To create true prosperity, you also have to think about sustainability. And no, we’re not really talking about e-cars (though that might be part of it).

Sustainability is mainly about what can be maintained for the long -term without injury, like your pace in a marathon. Both prosperity and sustainability depend on long-term thinking. When we approach a video project, we consider how it will affect the:

  • Minds and lives of viewers
  • Communities and places it’s produced in
  • Health of the artists who create it
  • Satisfaction of our clients

We employ production processes that are conscious of people, local cultures and communities, the planet, and that ensure you will get the most long-term value out of your project.

Relational

We take the time to get to know you, your brand or organization, and your audience. We’ll learn the nuances of your rich and complex brand language, mission, and culture, and how to best present it to your audience. Not only will your video get higher engagement and better results, it will retain high relevancy to your brand identity for future projects and campaigns.

Transformational

Our videos aren’t just pretty to look at. We incorporate the powerful principles of psychology into our videos and films through Market and Viewer Research and direct response marketing methodologies to inspire your viewer to take action. Our shooting, editing, and storytelling techniques ensure we’re not only making the right message for your audience, we’re also amplifying it’s impact.

Intentional

We emphasize quality of product and process. This results in a better product that resonates with your audience and delights you and your team.

our spiritual foundation

Making the name of Jesus beautiful by healing & empowering people and the planet Earth.

Our faith in Jesus inspires us to prioritize long-term prosperity over short-term profit.

When we say prosperity, you probably automatically jump to money. What we actually mean is thriving in a life that fosters your long-term success and well-being. While money can play a part in that, it’s not the whole picture. Sometimes, it can even be oppositional to prosperity. While pursuing personal wealth isn’t necessarily a bad thing (money is great at solving the problems it can solve), pursuing it at the expense of others and the environment causes imbalance and suffering.

As Christians, we believe that the long-term well-being of the planet and all the creatures who live here is important to God’s heart. The Bible paints the role of humans as stewards who care for creation and cultivate it for the benefit of all. We are also told that one of the most important commandments we have been given is to love our neighbors as ourselves (even if that neighbor lives a couple of centuries away).

We weren’t created to be at odds with others and all creation. Now that we are a globalized economy and species, it’s our duty to think about how our actions affect all other life on the planet in the long-term. So we’re pursuing a world where our own fulfillment can be achieved in a way that’s mutually beneficial and creates long-term prosperity for all of God’s creations.

Which is why we want to support the long term well-being and success of you, your viewers, our artists, local cultures and communities, and the planet as a whole (which includes ourselves, we’re not masochists).

Can we learn about you next?

You don’t want your next video project to feel like a fast food run: Done in a hurry with a vendor you don’t see that much, and the product leaves you gassy and unsatisfied when it’s done. Instead, let’s start a creative, collaborative relationship and, from that place, craft video content that feels like eating a wild-caught, home-cooked burger with local wine, beer, or cider on the side.

Too many food metaphors? Sorry. We might need more protein to recover from Sunday’s 20 mile run…
